The other day in Geneva, the 71st session of the World Health Assembly, the highest decision-making body in the World Health Organization (WHO) and determining the overall policy directions of the organization, has successfully concluded its work. The agenda included modern challenges in public health, the fight against infectious and non-communicable diseases, and the improvement of healthcare systems that will contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals.

“Qingdao is called the city of sails. Hence, we are counting on the SCO to embark on a new voyage in order to reach new agreements in a new era, develop new plans for the future development of our organization,” said Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Uzbekistan during the recent Tashkent presentation of the SCO summit in Qingdao.

On May 30, 2018, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who is in Russia on a working visit, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov within the framework of participation in “Primakov Readings” international forum, in Moscow.

Issues of the agenda of the meeting that was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on May 29, were considered in detail and critically in the context of complexes of the Cabinet of Ministers, the most important tasks were identified.
