Uzbek saffron, dried fruits, and vegetables to be exported to Austria

A delegation led by Bekzod Mamatkulov, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the “BMB HOLDING” group, visited Vienna on January 26-27.

During the visit, the delegation held productive meetings with Austrian partners, discussing issues related to the export of domestic products to the European market.

In particular, an agreement was reached with Boris Kandov, the head of “Agrotec Handels”, to establish a joint Austrian-Uzbek enterprise in Vienna within the coming months with the aim of increasing trade turnover between the two countries.

Additionally, representatives from the relevant trade departments of the Austrian Economic Chamber were provided with information regarding the activities of “BMB HOLDING”, the products manufactured by enterprises within its system, export opportunities, compliance with international quality standards, and other relevant details.

The Austrian side expressed strong interest in importing saffron, dried fruits, and vegetables, noting that there is demand for these products in Austria.

As a result of the meetings, an agreement was reached on close cooperation for the export of these products to Europe.
