During a telephone conversation held on March 11, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, warmly congratulated the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on his birthday.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely wished the UAE President good health, well-being, and great success in his public service, as well as peace and prosperity to the friendly people of the UAE. The leaders also exchanged warm greetings on the occasion of Ramadan, a sacred month for the entire Muslim Ummah.
It was emphasized that the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the UAE in January this year marked a new chapter in bilateral relations, elevating them to the level of strategic partnership. A roadmap has been adopted to implement the agreements reached during the visit.
The leaders expressed deep satisfaction with the dynamic progress of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and UAE, particularly in trade, economic, and investment areas. The volume of mutual trade and investments and the number of joint ventures continue to increase steadily.
Within the framework of the existing project portfolio totaling $20 billion, active collaboration is ongoing with leading Emirati companies in key areas such as green energy, digitalization, artificial intelligence, urban development and infrastructure, tourism, and private business.
The parties also discussed preparations for the second summit of the “Central Asia – Gulf Cooperation Council” dialogue, scheduled to take place in Samarkand.
