Another success for Uzbekistan’s para taekwondo athletes

At the qualification tournament for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Para Games in Ulaanbaatar, members of Uzbekistan’s national team won 11 medals.

According to the results of the competition, which brought together about 75 athletes from 20 countries, gold medals were won by Qudratillo Sunnatov (-70 kg), Umarjon Muydinov (+80 kg), Umida Mamarajabova (-52 kg), Karomat Qosimova (-65 kg), and Zulfiya Bikbulatova (+65 kg). Silver medals were won by Muhammadsodiq Usmonov (-58 kg), Qudrat Khaydarov (-63 kg), Madina Musinova (-47 kg), and Karima Meliquziyeva (-57 kg). Otabek Amatov (-80 kg) and Kamola Rasulova (-57 kg) won bronze medals.

The 5th Asian Para Games will be held in Japan from October 18 to 24. Athletes from 45 Asian countries are expected to participate. A total of 502 sets of medals will be contested across 18 sports.
