THE PRESIDENT OF UZBEKISTAN HAS DETERMINED THE MEASURES FOR THE FURTHER REALIZATION OF THE STRATEGY OF ACTIONS.

At the regular meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis taken place on August 14-15, 2017, the deputies have considered a number of draft laws developed within the framework of the realization of the Strategy for Actions.

The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, on November 22, arrived in the Republic of Korea with a state visit at the invitation of President Moon Jae-in.

International conference on “Central Asia: one past and a common future, cooperation for sustainable development and mutual prosperity”, organized in Samarkand under the auspices of the UN, has completed its work.

On November 13, a meeting dedicated to issues of improving the efficiency of geological exploration work, implementation of important strategic projects on increasing the resource base of mineral resources and precious metals, as well as production volumes was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

On 14 January an extended session of the Cabinet of Ministers, dedicated to comprehensive analysis of the results of social-economic development of the country in 2016 and determining the most important directions and priorities of economic and social program of the government in 2017 was held in Tashkent.

The founder of our independent state, the great statesman and politician, an outstanding son of the Uzbek people, the First President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Abduganievich Karimov, was a man who freed our Motherland from the shackles of the totalitarian regime, revived the country which at that time was on the edge of a precipice. In extremely difficult and unstable situation, despite the various difficulties and obstacles, in a short period, he transformed Uzbekistan into a modern democratic state.
