President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting on the issues of development of economy of Shaykhantakhur district, solving problems in housing and communal sector.

On August 8, a meeting with the delegation led by the Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the American company Air Products Seifi Ghasemi was held at “Uzbekneftegaz” JSC.

Uzbekistan will participate in activities of the working group on development of the Agreement on free trade zone of services between the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In this regard, an interdepartmental working group headed by the Minister for Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khodjaev was established in the country. The working group includes the Ministries of Finance, Economy, Justice, Foreign Affairs, Public Education, Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the State Committee for Investments, the Central Bank, the Agency of Automobile Transport, Uzbekistan Railways and Uzbekistan Airways.

On June 8, 2018, a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific was held at the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, two years ago, on April 19, 2016, launched the construction of Kandym Gas Processing Complex in Bukhara region. For the past time, a large industrial complex and a small town have been built here.

Production of “Cobalt” and “Matiz” cars has increased by 4,5 times last year, compared to 2016. Production of “Malibu” cars has the similar indicator.
